Just weeks after reaching the final seven of the BT Retail Week Technology Awards 2013, Atheon was announced as one of only four finalists in the Technology Supplier of the Year category at The Grocer Gold Awards 2013. Now in its eleventh year, The Grocer Gold Awards event is the most prestigious awards ceremony in the grocery retail calendar; this year's event will be hosted by Patrick Kielty at the Guildhall in London on 11 June.

The awards celebrate the very best of the grocery retail sector, with a particular focus on "... key business areas such as innovation and customer satisfaction."

Guy Cuthbert, Managing Director at Atheon, said "Having made the final of the BT Retail Week Technology Awards just a few weeks ago, it's fantastic news to hear that we have also made the final four at The Grocer Gold Awards; these are the two primary events for technology suppliers to retail, and to make the finals of both in the same year is hugely gratifying."

Guy went on to say, "I see this as clear recognition of the innovative approach that my Atheon colleagues have displayed in designing, delivering and supporting our JS Analytics service. The results achieved by our FMCG clients, who have embraced the collaborative approach we advocate, have clearly impressed the judging panel - we look forward to hearing more from them at the awards ceremony on June 11th."
